Memories Lost and Found

A Journey With Dementia

Janie noticed that her Nona was forgetting things...

At first it was small things, but then the small things became bigger. One day, her father came home and told her that Nona had dementia. Janie didn’t know how to respond. It felt like her favourite person in the world was slipping away. She felt the saddest that she ever had in her whole seven years. Then, Janie had an idea - a way to connect with Nona and help her remember all the beautiful memories of the past!

In this book, follow young Janie and her grandmother as they walk the journey with dementia together. As she copes with her love for Nona, and the pain of her loss, Janie also realizes a precious truth. Nona is still there with her when she revisits the lifetime of memories together.

For a life remembered is never lost
